Microsoft Teams Phone

Microsoft Teams is one of the most popular communication and collaboration platforms among businesses. It provides a comprehensive set of tools to ensure seamless collaboration: video calls, chats, conferences, calling, and everything else you need. Did you know that Microsoft Teams can also be used as a company phone system? Learn more about how Microsoft Teams Phone is an excellent and innovative alternative to traditional phone system.

Microsoft Teams Phone is a cloud-based phone system that allows you to make and receive calls directly from the Microsoft Teams application. Your phone number is always with you – make calls from your mobile phone, laptop or desktop computer.

Teams Phone has the capability to replace the entire traditional phone system. In addition to calling, it offers a range of other features such as automatic call forwarding, messaging, call recording, call queues, and much more.

A centralized solution where everything you need is in one place. Using a desk phone or third-party applications is no longer necessary.

Bring together calling, chat, and meetings – all in one app.

How does Microsoft Teams Phone work?

Microsoft Teams Phone is cloud-based – it integrates with Microsoft 365 and utilizes Microsoft's reliable and secure cloud infrastructure to provide high-quality phone services.

To use the Microsoft Teams Phone system, a Microsoft Teams Phone license is required. You can add it to your existing Microsoft 365 E1 or E3 license. For Microsoft 365 E5 license, Teams Phone is included as part of the license bundle.

Since January 2023, BRS Networks Baltic has been using Teams Phone to provide help desk services.
